The front desk and breakfast staff were great, and communicated well in both English and Portuguese. Breakfast was one of my favorite parts: fresh fruit, a nice range of choices, good hours, and scrambled eggs that somehow came out perfectly every time. You're close to the beach avenue, just around the corner, but there's no beach view from the hotel. Tapì and Calebito were nearby, and we also came across a grocery store and other restaurants while walking. We visited during a holiday, so many places were closed. The beach was lovely for the views and a run along the orla, though we were told the water wasn't good for swimming. The rooms were pretty standard in size and layout, but really clean. I only realized quite how clean after leaving. I usually don't like walking barefoot in hotel rooms, but here I never even thought to put on sandals. Everything in the room worked.

It's a no-frills place about half a block from the beach. The rooms are in decent shape, nothing fancy, and there are some basic things missing: no hairdryers in the rooms, and no pressing iron anywhere in the hotel.

The staff were friendly and breakfast was good, but it was the exact same food every day. The walls are so thin you can hear everything the neighbors are doing. If I had another option, I wouldn't stay here again.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby and even a shopping mall, and the location is good. Icarai praia hotel was beautiful and clean, with a big, comfortable bed and a medium-sized bathroom that was spotless and smelled good. The receptionist was polite and in a good mood. I'd definitely come back.

Good location and the rooms are OK, but the air conditioning was useless. Breakfast was passable. I didn't eat here otherwise.
