The rooms feel brand new, and the service is good. It’s in an excellent spot and has its own parking.

The breakfast keeps things simple, but does it with great taste, and the bed and pillows made for a really restful night. The inn is close to everything, which made getting around easy. The staff were consistently warm and attentive. A lovely stay, highly recommend.

I had a terrible experience. I’d booked the place and sent a message saying I had a dog with me. Whoever replied seems not to have understood, but confirmed the reservation anyway. I drove about an hour and a half from another city, only to be met at the door with, “Where am I supposed to leave this dog?” I was left out on the street, with no hotel and still an hour and a half from home, trying to find somewhere to stay. Thankfully, Hotel Pousada dos Plátanos took us in.

We had a very comfortable little balcony with a table and chairs in our room. The rooms are spacious and clean, and both the welcome at reception and the breakfast were top-notch. An excellent inn.

A friendly, family-run inn, and good value if you need a place to stay in Nova Petrópolis.
