Ackee Pousada

The rooms were really clean, with air conditioning and a TV, and the atmosphere was peaceful. It’s a simple place, but very well organized. Great breakfast, and nothing was missing. A nice spot to spend time with friends and family.

I booked well in advance, but when I arrived, the place was called “pousada café com leite.” The owner said she’d handed Pousada das Cores over to someone else and sent us to an address in the middle of the highway. It felt like a scam. I called, messaged, and tried every way to get in touch, but nobody got back to me. The company hasn’t updated its information or helped a customer reach the right place. It doesn’t deserve your money.

We had a lovely weekend here. It’s a really nice place, the staff were very polite, and breakfast had lots of delicious food. I hope to come back again.

The photos must be from when the place was first built. If anyone went during the last holiday, 20/112025, they’ll understand my disappointment. We didn’t even stay half an hour. Hygiene was awful, especially at the pools. The big one had completely green water, and the smaller one had sludge in it, so getting in was impossible. The room had a TV with a computer screen. It ruined the holiday I’d planned. The photos show crystal clear pool water, which is shameful. The staff member who received us said the water was green because it came from the gas station. A tip for the owner: charge more for the stay so you can maintain the place and be fair and honest in your advertising.
