Pousada Recanto Janbor

The room had several problems: the air conditioning didn’t cool, the fridge was shared, which hadn’t been mentioned when I booked, there weren’t enough towels for the number of guests, and the blankets had burned candle wax on them while the pillowcases were stained. I was also charged the credit card fee even though we’d agreed on two interest-free payments. From the start, the host was very rude, and dogs were jumping at my car door when I arrived. Honestly, I didn’t like anything about the stay. It was the worst I’ve ever had, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

The owner Márcia is such a lovely person, and everything was working well. We felt at home in this clean, cozy pousada, with the simple, natural setting we were looking for. We left with wonderful memories of this little place. I highly recommend it!

We spent New Year’s Eve in town and had an excellent stay. It’s a spacious, pleasant family place, and the host was very attentive. The cleaning was impeccable, and we had no internet problems. The location is good, right beside a wholesale market, with a view across the city.

The rooms were tidy and clean, and the place had a cozy feel. The host gave us a warm welcome.
