The cakes and coffee were good, and the place is close to the old town. For one night, it's okay-ish, but don't count on a restful sleep 🤭. The room had no window, just the access door. The air conditioning was old and very noisy, the polyester bedding wasn't natural fiber, and the pillows were uncomfortable. Wifi was okay.

We loved our time at Morada Bonfim so much that we extended our stay to two weeks. Dalton was an excellent host, and the guesthouse was comfortable, with everything we needed. We felt at home. Right in the middle of Olinda, it's all walkable, and you can watch the carnaval from the veranda.

The location works well for exploring Olinda, with bars nearby at night, though it's outside the historic part of town. The staff were really friendly, and breakfast was good. But the room didn't look like the photos and needs lots of maintenance. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, there was just one uncomfortable pillow, and the old air conditioning was so noisy that sleeping was hard. The large bathroom had mold, and the outdoor area wasn't as well kept as the photos suggest. Mixed feelings.

Every day here was perfect, and the food was out of this world, made with so much care by people who are renowned and award-winning in food. I was welcomed so warmly that I honestly felt at home, cared for like family. The best lodging experience I've had. I recommend coming and having the same experience I did.
