We lost €210, and Booking wouldn't help. Two days before our stay, when it was already too late to cancel, they tried to charge us an extra €260 after replying to a request I’d made three months earlier. This place is a scam. Don't get scammed.

We paid a lot for this, especially considering there are more hospitable places for the same price during Carnival. One person who said they were one of the owners put on an incredibly violent display after a friend came in to wait for us for five minutes. He shouted at her, told her to shut up, then blocked access through one of the doors. The place was really bad, it wasn't clean, and breakfast was poor. We'll never come back.

Sr. Dejair and his wife Bianca are wonderful, and they really do everything they can to make you feel at home. The service was impeccable, and the place felt warm, family-friendly, and cozy. I’m very grateful for all the care they gave us. We’ll always come back!

The breakfast was wonderful, with tapioca, omelets, and eggs made to order. Our room was clean, the wifi and air conditioning worked fine, and the shower had hot water. The owner Márcia and her team were always helpful.

The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning, since only a few rooms have it. Apart from that, I loved the place: the people were nice, the price was great, and the atmosphere made you feel at home. It’s right in the heart of Olinda, and I plan to come back.
