Our rooms weren't very clean. There were hairs on my bed when I arrived, and there was no daytime cleaning or restocking of toilet paper, so we ran out during our stay. The booking was confusing too. We reserved through the Booking app using a virtual credit card, then got a message in the app only after the booking succeeded, saying virtual cards weren't accepted. We arrived the next day without a physical card, so we had to cancel and rebook using my friend's physical card. They gave no good explanation, even though the booking and payment had already gone through. I had to trust the cancellation and refund would work so I wouldn't pay twice.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the pool was refreshing. The location is great, close to 4 Cantos, the heart of the old town, with live music, coffee shops, a pharmacy, and a mini market. Alto da Sé, Mercado da Ribeira and its shops, and the historic churches are all within walking distance. Staff were very friendly, and the decor had a rustic, romantic feel. Internet quality varied depending on the room. Highly recommended!

The large garden looks beautiful when lit up at night, and the interior has a very artistic feel. Private rooms are stylish, too. Communicating with the staff in English or Spanish was somewhat difficult.

Breakfast was good and the beds were comfortable. The location is nice, and for the price, it's fine. It wasn't especially clean.

We got a very friendly welcome, and our room was both spacious and cozy. Breakfast had a huge selection. Definitely recommended.
