The old mansion feels warm and welcoming, and everything was clean and well organized. The rooms are spacious, with very nice bathrooms. I loved how the beautiful furniture fits the age and style of the house. Out back, stairs lead to the upper part of the yard, where there's a lovely view.

There are five little view balconies on the upper floor, and the house itself has a gorgeous outlook. It's spacious and very well cared for, with avocado and fig trees. The kitchen has all the utensils, and the bedding and bath linens are good quality and smell lovely. Highly recommend.

That wonderful lookout really added something special to our stay. The house was huge, cozy, spotless, and well organized, with all the utensils we needed. We had an amazing time and will definitely come back. We'll be telling lots of people about Alquimia House!

The host was so attentive and helpful. This charming old mansion is right downtown, close to Ouro Preto's main attractions, and the terrace has a beautiful view over the city. Such a fantastic place, definitely worth it!

There are restaurants and a bakery about a five-minute walk away, and the house is right in the city center. It's a large period house with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, and it used to be home to a pharmacist. The kitchen is well equipped with plates, cutlery, glasses, and other essentials, and the furniture is all period style.
