The Wi-Fi was good, the TV worked, the shower had hot water, and the location was great. Still, it was hard to find, and the place seemed more like a brothel than a pousada. There were a few cockroaches in my room, and the toilet had no seat. They cancelled my booking after I checked in, so I couldn't leave a review on Booking.com. I'm posting it here instead. If you have another option, do yourself a favor and DON'T stay here.

The reception and care from Edmar and the whole team stood out. They were attentive from the start to the end, and I’ll definitely come back. The accommodation is simple, but cozy and comfortable, and its excellent location makes the stay much easier.

The staff member was very polite and genuinely willing to help. But please renovate the room before renting it out. The sheets had holes and tears, the bathroom ceiling was moldy, and the bathroom door was falling apart from termites. There was a cockroach in the room, the bathroom walls were peeling, and the shampoo holder, the cheap kind, was rusty and had no base. The toilet flush was unfinished and leaking water onto the floor. Sorry, but the room shouldn't be rented in this condition.

The location was perfect, close to everything, and I’ll recommend the place to friends. We were really pleased with the service. It’s a simple pousada, but they welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home. Jessica was very kind, and Edmar made us feel at home too. Great people, a 10 out of 10.
