The hotel sits on a steep slope, though steep slopes are all over Ouro Preto, so that shouldn't put visitors off. The room had a great view and plenty of space, which I really appreciated. Reception was open 24 hours, the shower was great, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It’s also very close to the town centre. I’d definitely recommend it when visiting Ouro Preto!

Our third-floor room had a great view, and the location was lovely, though getting into the car park by car was a little tricky. The staff did their best to help, even though I was at a disadvantage because I don't speak Portuguese. Luckily, my girlfriend does. The room was nicely presented, with a pleasant bathroom, basic soap and towels, an empty fridge, and a small TV. For what we paid, it was more than enough, and the bed was very comfortable.
