Pousada Dos Minerais

The staff were extremely attentive, and breakfast was good. The rooms themselves are basic, with tiny bathrooms and weak shower flow. It's a little way from the center, and getting to the main tourist spots means climbing some steep streets.

The one good part was the reception service. The room they gave us was cramped for three people and had a broken door lock, a damaged wardrobe, wobbly beds, worn sheets, and torn towels. In the bathroom, the shower drain was clogged, the towel holders were broken, and the handheld bidet spray didn't work. Very bad experience, and absolutely not worth what we paid for one night.

Breakfast was decent, though very simple, and the service was good. The room was small and poorly ventilated, with a tiny bathroom and a generally bad setup. It's an old house that really needs a proper renovation. The price doesn't match what's offered. I wouldn't recommend it.

It's well located, and the basic facilities do the job for sleeping. The tight bathroom had a leak, which was disappointing. Breakfast was satisfying, and the value for money was good.
