The room was clean, the breakfast was nice, and the location is central. Beautifully decorated, too.

The inn is nice, simple but well kept and tasteful, with good breakfast, a good location, parking, and generally clean rooms. I did find a hair in the bathroom, though. What made me feel misled was the wildly inflated rate for the May 1 holiday. They charged me R$ 870 per night, including one night from Sunday to Monday. I only realized it wasn't worth that much when I checked Booking for other dates and saw prices around R$ 500. That's why I rated it low. They can charge more during long holiday weekends, but this was much more, and at that price I'd expect more services and conveniences. You even have to borrow and return a hair dryer, and they don't provide even a complimentary bottle of water. The value for money left me feeling cheated. I would stay here again, just not at that price.

The breakfast had plenty of variety, and the garage service made things much easier. I stayed in the deluxe double room, which should suit even demanding guests: the queen bed was very comfortable, and the pillows, linens, and towels were all excellent. The old mansion is extremely clean, fresh-smelling, and very well kept. It’s also close to Tiradentes Square. I highly recommend it.

The staff were helpful and attentive, and the breakfast was delicious, simple, and nicely prepared. Our room had plenty of space, including in the bathroom, and the bed was comfortable. The inn is well located for visiting the city’s main sights. It’s worth staying here, and we’ll book it again next time we’re in town.
