The room itself was comfortable and had a good setup, but we ran into several problems. I booked a room with a whirlpool for my husband's birthday because he likes them. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. The inn told me over WhatsApp to go up to the second floor and get some from the storage room, which I found quite inconvenient. Later, we couldn't fill the whirlpool because there wasn't enough hot water. When we contacted them, we were told no room had hot water for the tub that weekend. The hotel later got in touch and recalculated the charge as if we'd stayed in a room without a whirlpool, taking the trouble into account.

My wife and I booked one night to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and we were disappointed. The whirlpool had no hot water. It took them about 2:30 to fix it on the day we arrived, but the next day we couldn't use it again because there was no hot water. We contacted them and didn't even get a reply. The experience was a big letdown, especially given the price. They didn't provide what the reservation had promised.

It's a guesthouse with an Airbnb sort of feel. Breakfast costs extra, and they provide sheets and towels. The people who manage the place welcomed us warmly, treated us well, and gave us all the help we needed. The only downside is the access road, which is unpaved and full of potholes.

The service was excellent and quick. The room was spotless, with care put into every little detail. I can't think of a better place to stay in Lavras Novas.

The owners were friendly and always ready to help. Everything felt new, clean, and well organized, and the place was cozy and quiet, with a romantic feel. Great stay! ♡
