The peaceful green setting in Guarda do Embaú made it easy to unwind, while the beach and village center were still a short walk away. In the mornings we could hear the birds. Our room was spotless and cozy, with a comfortable bed, fresh linens, good lighting, and a nice garden view. The outdoor space was inviting too, with a pool, hammocks, barbecue area, and shared kitchen. Leo and Fernanda made the stay feel special from the moment we arrived. They were warm, attentive, and available whenever we needed something, and shared helpful tips about exploring the area. You can tell they love both hosting and the region. We left refreshed and grateful, already hoping to return. Morada das Orquídeas is a beautiful, quiet place run by people who care, and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Guarda do Embaú.

The apartment was well equipped with appliances, bedding, table linens, and towels, and everything was very clean and smelled fresh. The hosts were attentive and welcoming. Surrounded by nature, it’s about a five-minute walk to the center, close enough to reach both town and sea on foot, but far enough from the bustle and noise. There’s a pool, though we barely used it with the sea so close. The only thing I’d add is a fan for the living room. We loved the stay and highly recommend it.

We stayed for a week and felt right at home. The Pousada has everything you need, with a natural setting close to the sea and about five minutes on foot from the center of Guarda, but away from the crowds. Dona Katia welcomed us and was so kind and helpful, always checking if we needed anything. Leonardo handled things online and was very attentive too. Our suite didn’t have a microwave, though Dona Katia let us use hers. We loved it, and so did our little dog. We’ll definitely be back.

The homes have comfortable furniture and all the essentials, with plenty nearby too. Service, cleanliness, and location are excellent. You’re close to the activity but can still get away from the noise when you want to rest. I’ve been coming here for many years.
