This was a lovely surprise. The beaches are beautiful, and I had a great time discovering the nearby bars and music. Xande was a super helpful host at this recently remodeled Pousada. As usual, all the local people I met were friendly. I'll be back again.

The location is excellent, close to everything, and the shared area has a pool, pool table, and barbecue. But there's no bathroom for that common area. The room's cleanliness was disappointing: there were lots of ants, even in the electric kettle, and the dishes weren't clean either. A strong drain smell from the bathroom kept coming into the room. I reported it and the host offered to fix it, but they couldn't resolve it. You'll also have to take the trash outside the pousada to a bin on the next corner. I missed having room service and a minibar.

The new owners have put so much care into the place. Everything was clean, fresh-smelling, and well organized, and you can tell they want guests to feel looked after. I had a wonderful stay. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with such a lovely energy that you feel at home as soon as you arrive. 💛🌿

We stayed for five days and found the owners attentive and helpful. Our vivenda caught a lovely breeze, and the place is close to Guarda's lively center, the Rio da Madre, and the trails. The beds were comfortable, and there's a great setup with a pool, hammock area, and games room. Such a welcoming place. I absolutely recommend it.
