I had a stomachache after eating here. The food was really bad: hard beans, mushy rice, and old, wilted salad. I don't recommend it.

It’s a beautiful place, close to nature, and the space is really comfortable. The family running the pousada are native to Vale do Capão, and their hospitality is the best part. I recommend it.

A very special place run by people native to Vale do Capão. They serve homemade regional food for breakfast and lunch, including traditional dishes like biju. Dona Juceli and her daughters also make all sorts of things, such as coconut soap, artisan breads, and sweets, and favor fresh, organic local ingredients. Hard to put into words! They also rent out rooms and Airbnb stays.

Juci made us feel so welcome, she was friendly and helpful. The setting is peaceful and surrounded by nature, yet there’s a market and produce shop nearby, so we had everything we needed. Nothing to complain about. I’ll be back soon.
