I don't see what's wrong with this place. It deserves a really good rating!

Caution: an improper charge and an off-platform contract change! I booked through Booking, where it was clearly stated that there would be no advance charge. The pousada then contacted me directly on WhatsApp demanding prepayment for the stay to “confirm” the accommodation. When I questioned them and mentioned that I was a longtime platform customer (Genius 3), they admitted they use Booking to attract customers, then change the terms outside the platform. They criticized the very platform they use as a showcase while pressuring customers to pay in advance. I cancelled the reservation immediately because I had no trust or sense of security. This conduct was completely unethical and commercially abusive, and disregarded the agreed terms. I don’t recommend it. If you care about security and transparency on your trip, stay away. I have all the screenshots to document the approach.

Caleb and the team were great. The pousada has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere, an excellent pool, and a very good breakfast. There’s parking for guests, though it’s small, and two of the spaces are covered. It’s also well located near the Centro, with easy access to bars, restaurants, shops, and Praia do Farol. We’ll be back!

It’s less than five minutes from the Centro, which was a big plus for me. The atmosphere was pleasant and clean, and the staff were always attentive and dedicated. You can feel how much care goes into the little details for guests. I’d definitely stay at La Luna again on my next trip to town.
