A lovely family-run place with friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was plentiful every morning. I recommend it.

The property is attractive and felt secure, but the problems during my stay outweighed those positives. I paid for something I didn’t receive. The pool was dirty, so I couldn’t use it on the first of my two nights. There were piles of rubbish near my room, which attracted insects, including cockroaches. They removed the rubbish while guests were there, and the noise kept me from resting that afternoon. The shared areas weren’t clean when we arrived. The toilet didn’t work properly, and neither did the shared refrigerator. I’d been told card payment was available, but when I got there, they said it wasn’t. Maintenance was left until guests had arrived, which made the stay uncomfortable. This place could be an excellent pousada, but they need to take care of maintenance before guests get there.

The pousada is nice and very peaceful. We had one issue with the air conditioning: the window unit was extremely noisy. They resolved it by providing a fan, and the host was very attentive. There could at least be a piece of furniture in the room for storing a few things. One detail, there’s a shared refrigerator on the deck.
