Esplanada Hotel

Really good.

Just average.

Loved it.

The quiet around the room stood out most. Even though the hotel is near the highway at the edge of town, we weren't bothered by noise in the corridor or nearby. Our window looked onto a side street, with a sugar apple tree and a pair of gray doves outside. The room was spacious and had comfortable beds, air conditioning, a decent-sized wardrobe, a minibar, and a TV. The fresh linens and towels were very clean, and the bathroom was roomy, with a hot shower and plenty of water. The bedside furniture and table were basic, but did the job. We found everything calm and well organized. The reception area is set up nicely, and the employee was very polite. There's also a small convenience shop for water, drinks, and snacks, plus plenty of parking. The hotel is right at the entrance to town, which is a good location. Breakfast had a good variety, including fruit, bread, cakes, yogurt, eggs, and sausages in sauce. The pool is large, with a separate kids' area where a woman was watching the children. I'd seen several bad reviews, but decided to check it out anyway. It was a great choice. We'll come back!
