Eden Pousada

The owner is really friendly and welcoming, and the place is very clean. Breakfast was delicious. You can walk to the square and the beach, with all the shops nearby too. I should be back soon. Take care. I highly recommend it.

The room and bathroom were clean and tidy, and the TV, air conditioning, fridge, and internet all worked fine. But I had a terrible stay, just one stressful night, and couldn’t get a decent sleep. The pousada is on Lagoinha’s main road, so the street noise was awful, like trying to sleep in the middle of the road. At 6 in the morning, there was also a man chopping chicken with a machete at the butcher shop opposite. There was only one double bed, and it was hard and too small for two people. We had to lie very still because there wasn’t room to turn over. The pillows were high and hard too. Breakfast had almost no choice, basically bread, eggs, cheese, and ham. No cake, tapioca, couscous, or other protein options. I went to a nearby bakery to buy cake and cheese bread. It’s not worth leaving the comfort of home for a pousada where you can’t even get a good night’s sleep.

The owner was so warm, friendly, and generous, and the whole experience was wonderful. The room and bathroom were really clean, and the room had air conditioning, a minibar, and a smart TV. The bed linen was clean too, and breakfast was well organized.

A simple, welcoming place. I recommend it.
