Bela Vista Hotel

The hotel needs renovation, and accessibility for people with disabilities needs work too. The breakfast area can only be reached by stairs, with no elevator access. The breakfast staff were rude and gave terrible service. The women seemed very grumpy. One day I arrived just a minute after breakfast had closed with my five-year-old autistic daughter, who only eats scrambled eggs in the morning. The cook was unfriendly and said she wouldn’t make anything else for anyone. Also, be careful not to break a glass. I broke an American-style tumbler and was charged 6 reais. I don’t recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent, and the rooms are quite pleasant. Breakfast is good quality too, so I think it’s worth staying here and would recommend it.

The internet needs work. Wi-Fi costs R$ 5,00, but the speed didn’t even reach 1 MB, so I cancelled it right away. The 5G in the area was much faster. There were plenty of good points: a quiet atmosphere at night, an elevator, and a very good location in Paranoá with several buses to Plano Piloto. The rooms had a large bed, flat-screen TV, working air conditioning, bathroom with a shower enclosure, minibar, table, wardrobe with hangers, and a sofa. The apartments and hallways were clean. Breakfast was good, and there was a printed newspaper at the counter to read. The pantry staff were kind about replenishing items that had run out.

The hotel is simple but comfortable, and the service was excellent.
