The view was beautiful, but the accommodation was in terrible shape. The garage had no proper space, and the bedding and mattress looked dirty and were poor quality. Around 4 a.m., rain came into the room, soaking our bags and flooding the floor. We had to leave for the car because we couldn't stay there, then find somewhere else to sleep. Even so, the person responsible wouldn't refund the night we spent in the car, not even half of that night's rate. She returned only the remaining nights and acted as though I was at fault. For what it cost, the experience was awful. I'm completely dissatisfied, and the place urgently needs basic maintenance. The website photos don't match reality, and I felt totally ripped off after booking several nights at Canto de Paz.

We paid over R$700,00 a night, but the house was in urgent need of maintenance. The location is surrounded by lush nature and has an incredible view, yet the bathroom leaked, water ran out, and the kitchen equipment looked like it had been picked out of the trash. Cooking with those pans was impossible, and the ones shown in the photos were the best ones. The house was also filthy, the worst Airbnb I've stayed in. We spent 15 days barely sleeping because the bed had two old mattresses stacked on top of each other. We removed one because it smelled of cat urine. The pillows were so dirty that we bought new ones. The mattress was in awful condition too. We complained about the pans, and the owner eventually brought three new frying pans, one of them very tiny. Cockroaches and ants had taken over, so we had to buy poison. There were no towels or spare sheets, and although there was a washing machine, guests weren't allowed to use it. The area is very humid, and clothes didn't dry even after hanging for four days. Anyone with mobility difficulties may struggle with the steep uphill access, and some cars can't make it up.

A trap. I'm posting this on Google because the AirBNB host can choose not to publish an app review. My girlfriend and I had a terrible stay. Calling the accommodation "rustic" seems like an excuse for how little infrastructure it has. The room was tiny, and we could barely fit our backpacks. The photos are misleading and make it look much bigger. The bathroom door gives you almost no privacy. Getting there was awful, and it's far from the center. We also discovered that the "parking" area couldn't fit all the cars. If one guest wanted to leave, another car had to be moved, so you had to stay alert with your keys ready in case someone needed to get out. There was no freedom to simply park and rest. We nearly had to flee. Before booking, we asked if we could bring our dog, and said we couldn't leave him alone in the room. He couldn't adjust to being cooped up and became very uncomfortable and restless, so for our sake and his we left. We paid for three nights and didn't even complete one. The rates couldn't be refunded, so we accepted losing the money. The price is terribly high for so little in return. Staying in an inn in Centro de Trindade would have been much cheaper and included breakfast. If you're going to Trindade during a busy period or holiday, I'd choose somewhere in Centro so you don't have to worry about parking or moving your car.

We rented the property for four months, and all four were miserable. When we signed, the owner, Yanina, told us about a bathroom leak and poor drainage in the kitchen sink. We agreed to fix those issues. But by the first month, things were already chaotic. Sometimes we'd have a shower but no water at the sink. Whenever we got back, our belongings, bed, blankets, and clothes were soaked because the water tank poured water into the room like a waterfall. The owner always denied responsibility. Exhausted, we brought in our own builders to redo the tank structure and roof, and that solved the problem. Then she went upstairs to work on the tank again after there had been no water coming down for 20 days. To our shock, our bed flooded again right after she went up. We complained, but she did nothing. We made a makeshift fix ourselves, trying to keep water from falling on us until we could leave. We also installed cameras because we began to suspect someone was going up and tilting the tank to sabotage us. While we were at the beach, we saw on camera that she was entering our home, going into our attic, and handling the tank, making the problem return. We rushed back to the inn and saw her coming down. She knew we'd seen her and tried to explain that she'd gone up because she saw water coming down. But she'd known for months that it was leaking and never even shut off the valve to protect our things. We believe she did it to avoid affecting the rental of the room below and her own comfort at home. Three hours after she came in and touched the tank, our room flooded again. I have videos, photos, and screenshots of her refusing to accept responsibility for the damage. We're taking legal action, of course, but I felt obligated to share this so others don't fall for her scam.

The room was clean and had a lovely view, but it was tiny and lacked proper facilities. The concept is interesting, though the stay was far from enjoyable. Reaching the place is difficult, including when trying to maneuver, and the parking is awful. There isn't room for every car, so you have to stay alert in case a guest needs to get out and you have to move yours. Although it may look close to the center of Trindade on a map, you need a car to go anywhere. The road is narrow and has no sidewalk, so walking there isn't really possible.
