Casa Brazil Pousada

Rayane was consistently kind, polite, and helpful, and I have absolutely nothing to complain about with her. The pousada itself is cozy and well located, and breakfast was good and met expectations. But during our stay, cleaning and towel changes weren’t organized or done automatically, so I had to ask for them. There were also several uncomfortable issues. I booked in October for December and paid a deposit, then learned friends who booked at the last minute got a lower price. I’d asked in advance whether we could bring our dog and was told yes. On arrival, the first thing I heard was that they wouldn’t have accepted him if they’d known he was large. I was later told he couldn’t come down for breakfast or go into the outdoor area. I took him downstairs on a leash anyway, and he behaved very well, so there were no problems. We had agreed on a room with a balcony, but when we arrived the owner tried to put me in another room. I refused the change and she eventually kept the agreed room, though it took a while to make it available even though check-in was scheduled for 14:00. I left our things and went to the beach while they finished cleaning.

Beatriz welcomed us so warmly. The pousada is in a good location, and the comfortable room suited us very well. Breakfast had lots of choices and everything was tasty. I highly recommend it!

Without a doubt, the worst place we’ve ever stayed. The owner kept trying to direct the cars around and bothering guests, like a traffic guard. There weren’t enough spaces for all the guests, so we had to leave our car on the street. Our room smelled of mold and was very dirty, and the sheet had old blood stains. Breakfast was very poor, with no choices, and the host was not at all pleasant. I regret paying 360 reais for one night in such a dirty place. I don’t recommend it.

Our stay at Dona Beatriz’s pousada was simply perfect! The breakfast was delicious, everything made with so much care, and the cleanliness deserves a 10, everything was immaculate. I’m truly grateful to Dona Beatriz for being such a wonderful, attentive, and welcoming host. We’ll definitely be back! 💖
