The rooms were spacious and clean, with hot water and great air conditioning. Lucy was attentive and helpful the whole time, and we especially appreciated her breakfast suggestions. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of options. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It really felt like a home away from home. Thank you so much!

Lucy was wonderful. She speaks excellent English and was so helpful with advice, and arranged transfers, taxis and tours for us at better prices than the usual tour operators. She even drove us to Paraty-Mirim herself and picked us up after our hike to Pão do Pico do Açúcar (Sugarloaf Peak)! The whole staff were friendly, and the rooms were great and very clean. We loved the good breakfast and the cheerful, welcoming atmosphere at the Pousada. We’d happily recommend it to anyone. Thank you, Lucy and the whole team! ❤️

The architecture and interior design of the accommodation really stood out to us. Lucy and her staff went out of their way to make our time in Paraty and at the Pousada special, and Lucy was always available to help with practical questions. As non-locals, that made a lot of things easier. We had a wonderful stay, and if we’re lucky enough to return to Paraty, we’d choose Gaia Gardens Pousada again. Thanks for an unforgettable time!

A good breakfast with fruit, cake and eggs made to order, and excellent value for money. The owner pays attention to what guests need. It’s a really nice place in Paraty, a 15-20 minute walk from the historic center, which gets overrun with tourists. Recommended!
