Paraty Paradiso

The rooms were clean and well equipped, and I had no complaints about the bathroom. Getting there takes care: the entrance is marked by a small sign off a dirt road, and Google Maps may send you down a different road that ends in a dead end. There’s no breakfast, which would be useful since it isn’t easy to find one in a tiny town like this. My main problem was the noise. They call the place “paradise,” but resting in the evening was difficult because the owner and his kids were much too loud. Some rooms are right above the shared area, so if you get one of those, relaxing is out of the question.

The people working here were super friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. It's a lovely spot surrounded by jungle, so you can be close to nature while still sleeping comfortably. Breakfast was amazing too, especially the tapioca pancake with white cheese and tomato, the avocado toast, and the fresh juices.

We spent five days here and really loved it. The garden is beautiful, with lots of edible fruit, and the people working here are so kind and helpful. A great place to feel connected to nature.

We stayed in the tree house with a suitcase, and there wasn't enough room inside to keep our things protected from the elements. Apart from that, everything was clean and comfortable, and the service was great. A lovely place for a vacation.
