mateus O.
We hadn't booked a room when we drove from London to Carajas airport last April. We spotted this hotel on the way and liked how it looked, since it didn't resemble the local architecture, so my mates and I decided to stay as soon as we saw the reception. It was 40 degrees Celsius that day, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver for the three of us Englishmen. The rooms are small, but modern and very clean. The staff were really friendly, and the manager was especially welcoming. He spoke perfect English and Portuguese, plus Arabic and some Spanish. I was surprised to learn he was from Maroco. I can't remember his name, but he's the best hotel manager I've ever met. The service was great, and the breakfast was really good, unlike anything I've seen in Europe. I'm so happy with the stay. I'd call it the best budget hotel in the Amazon area and highly recommend it.
