I felt so welcome at Pousada Gitana in Pirangi do Norte. The setting is cozy and well organized, and it really feels made for guests to feel at home. Everything was top notch: the welcome, service, room cleanliness, location, and breakfast. I loved staying here and will recommend it whenever I can. I'll definitely come back!

I wasn't happy with the stay and wouldn't recommend it. The shower's electric heater was burnt out, so the water was cold, and there was no shower curtain, which left the bathroom flooded whenever it was used. There were rat droppings on the bedspread, and leaves on the floor, so it probably hadn't been cleaned recently. Breakfast was another disappointment. It included fruit (grapes, papaya, melon, and unripe banana), French bread, cheese and ham, tasteless juice, coffee, and milk. There was also sausage in tomato sauce for anyone who likes that. I expected things like cheese bread, cream cheese, yogurt, oats, or granola. There weren't even eggs or butter, and I had to knock on the kitchen door to ask for plates and cups. The owners, a couple, run the place. I thought the price was far too high for the quality and service, which fell short.
