Hostel Passos

The place was cozy and very clean, and the service was a 10. The bathroom was nice, but the shower was really poor. The mattresses and pillows were also very bad. Breakfast was weak, with few options and low quality. Parking means leaving your car there early, since you can’t get it out later; otherwise you have to leave it on the street. I’d come back if these things were improved.

I spent 30 really pleasant days there. Everything was clean and well organized. Huge thanks to Rogério, Thaís, and Drica. I recommend it so much, and thank you for everything.

We had just three days, so there were plenty of attractions we didn’t get to see, and I hope to return. The place felt family-run, with clean rooms and everything working normally. Júlio and Dna Tereza were so thoughtful and helped make our stay as good as possible. They also gave us all the support we needed for our outings, something you really have to experience to understand. Three wonderful days. Thank you to the couple and the whole family, it was a pleasure meeting you all. See you again!

In a city that really isn’t pet-friendly, this hostel is easily the best choice if you need to travel with your pet. My wife and I were treated very politely by Tereza, who even on the phone took time to explain things and reassure us that our medium-sized dog would be welcome. The hostel is the only place in Passos that accepts pets of that size. Other hotels either don’t accept them, despite misleading listings online, or have lots of restrictions. It’s in a great location, feels safe, and has its own parking. The room was basic but very clean and cozy. The mattresses and pillows were clean too, but old and thin, so I’d suggest replacing them. Tereza makes breakfast herself with a lot of care, and the serving time is flexible. I recommend staying here, and I’ll be back.
