Hotel Maestro Executive Pato Branco

I felt invaded when a staff member opened my room door while I was inside. When I complained, all I got was, “I thought the room was empty!” The professionalism was seriously lacking. The shared dining area was also chaotic. Kitchen staff spoke loudly and laughed as if they were on their own porch, with little consideration for others using the space. There was also confusion about the daily rate and check-in and checkout times. The hotel sets its own schedule, which may be allowed, but that information is supposed to be made clear to customers. It wasn’t on my booking confirmation, which only said “daily rate,” so I understood it to mean a 24-hour stay under the law approved in December 2025. When I raised this with the night receptionist, she was extremely rude and sarcastic. My advice is to find another hotel in Pato Branco.

The location was good, and the service was friendly. Breakfast was tasty, especially the homemade jams. My room faced the back of the hotel and got quite bright as soon as the sun came up, so if you want to sleep in, a room facing the front may be better. The room could have been cleaner: there were several dead or squashed insects on the ceilings in both the room and bathroom.

The hotel itself was good, but the breakfast area has no air conditioning and gets very hot on warm days. I was sweating and uncomfortable. The kitchen staff told me their kitchen also has no ventilation, even though they run the ovens and have to work in that heat. That’s unhealthy. I hope they address it.

The room and breakfast were good, but one person at reception gave really poor service. The elevators also kept having problems, and there wasn’t even a notice when one wouldn’t go to the floor I needed.
