Pousada Casa Paty

We had a lovely week in a peaceful, quiet setting. The owner was kind and very helpful, and the place felt safe. It was also easy to get around to everything.

The view is beautiful, and the inn is close to the center. We arrived at 11 p.m., after the owner’s work hours, and he waited for us out in the cold before giving us a really warm welcome. The rooms were well kept, and he’s a very nice guy.

I’ve stayed here three times in two years, coming back for the fresh air. It’s a cozy inn in a converted house, with a lovely view and a generous breakfast. The welcome is attentive and respectful. The rooms and bathrooms are always clean, and the bedding and towels are spotless. There’s a pool for hot days and a wonderful hot shower when it’s cold, plus TV, Wi-Fi, a minibar, air conditioning, and a fan.

My mother and I spent six wonderful days here in December 2016. She uses a wheelchair, and although there isn’t a room specifically for guests with disabilities, we were given a suite that was easy enough to access. Bernard was very helpful with her, and Ana, his wife, is so friendly. We got plenty of rest, fresh air, and peace in nature. We hope to come back someday. Thank you! Ten out of ten.
