Pousada nas Montanhas Recanto Querubins

We left right after breakfast, even though we had paid for two nights. The breakfast was awful: stale bread, fruit and cheese left out with flies landing on them, and eggs that tasted of old grease. The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. Getting there was already a problem. Once the pavement ends, the road is dangerous for some cars, which skid. There are no signs along the way and no sign identifying the inn. Parking inside the yard costs extra and is in poor condition. When we arrived, we were told there was no water because of a pump problem. Only one room had water in its bathroom, so every guest had to use that same bathroom to shower. Since it was late and the nights were already paid for, we stayed. The staff member was helpful and managed to fix the problem later. Reception closes at 7 p.m., which is difficult if you can’t get there earlier.

The view is incredible, and the room was so good. I hadn’t slept on a bed that perfect in ages, my back was grateful! The service was impeccable, and breakfast had that mountain feel. They know what they’re doing. I recommend it and will be back soon.

We loved the city, it’s all so beautiful. The inn was a really pleasant, peaceful place, with a gorgeous view and a very clean room. I was having back trouble, and the mattress was comfortable and worked well for me. Our group came to rest and explore, and it suited us very well. There were power cuts in the area because of the rain, but that didn’t spoil our stay. The inn is still under construction, and that didn’t get in the way either. There’s no minibar in the room, but a shared fridge is available, so that wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was quite good, and I have no complaints about the women who served us. The area is rural, so some of the roads are dirt, which was no problem for us. We found the place easily by following the video they sent.

The place is hard to reach, and the man in charge was rude and difficult to communicate with. He didn’t even introduce himself. When I asked for a blanket, it turned into an argument because he questioned why the air conditioning was on. It was really hard to talk to him.
