Vitoria Convention Paulinia

The fridge in our room never worked, and the staff didn’t make us feel welcome. We asked in Portuguese if we could stay later on Sunday and enjoy the pool with our six-year-old, but the receptionist, Vitoria, gave a blunt no and offered no alternatives. When we asked for a manager, we were told there wasn’t one on weekends, which is unacceptable. While we waited for the elevator, we saw the receptionists giggling in front of us. It felt unprofessional. The hotel itself was good, but we’d rather spend our money elsewhere, including on lunch.

The rooms are spacious and clean, but meals are very basic and the staff weren’t attentive. I’ve been trying for days to get an invoice corrected and haven’t had a response. That’s not a good foundation for a business stay.

The rooms are okay, and the hotel is relatively new, but it’s out in the middle of nowhere. The price doesn’t match what you get, and several things weren’t working.

There are several dinner options at the hotel, and the rooms are roomy with large bathrooms. It’s one of the top hotels to stay at in Paulnia, and it’s known for its service and hospitality.
