Pelotas' city center has this historic landmark hotel. The location makes it easy to get around, and the prices are good. Service was great, the staff were helpful, and the WiFi was stable. There was a good range of cable TV channels too. The facilities need some maintenance and aren't the best, though. It suits clients looking for good value and an easy location.

The breakfast was so weak that after two nights we skipped it on the second morning and ate somewhere else. The parking was far away too. The hotel is old, and although the rooms have been renovated, they still look dated because the furniture hasn't been updated. I won't come back or recommend it. With the hotel declining, they could at least put money into breakfast and give guests a reason to return.

The staff provided excellent service and the location was good. Parking is outsourced, though it's only a few meters away. Breakfast was very basic but pleasant. Our room was tidy, with AC, a TV, and a queen bed, but the mattress was quite bad. The bathroom smelled awful and was badly neglected, so it wasn't good value for money. It was R$ 330 for one night, two adults, and one child.
