Apart Hotel Praia da Fortaleza

Really great.

Loved it.

Great.

The breakfast was enough for a hearty start to the day, with bread, cake, cheese, ham, yogurt, juice, eggs, sausage, coxinha, rain cakes, cereal, coffee with milk, and fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the whole place was clean. The inn is just a few meters from Beto Carrero Park, and the owner told us we could walk instead of calling an Uber. She was right, it took only about 10 minutes. We were a group of five, three adults and two children, and found it great value. The facilities are good and have what you need if your main plan is to sleep, rest, and visit the park. I’d recommend it if you want to save money and don’t need a fancy hotel. Just be aware of the stairs if you have trouble getting around. We stayed on the first floor.
