We spent six days here and found the quiet guesthouse a good place to rest. Adriana deserves credit for that. We used it as a base for Beto Carrero, which is very close to the park entrance, and could walk there. There was also a wholesale supermarket nearby with good prices and things for breakfast. I preferred leaving the car on the quiet street so I could come and go whenever I wanted. We also visited nearby cities: Pomerode, about an hour and a half away, with two parks, Balneário Camboriú around 40 minutes away, and Bombinhas about an hour and 40 minutes away. It was a comfortable base for seeing the area.

The location was very convenient, close to the beach, Beto carreiro, supermarkets, and a bakery, and the area was quiet and good for sleeping. But I was expecting an inn with services and ended up in a cramped, very uncomfortable room. It was tiny and had no natural ventilation. If you go, avoid the smallest room. They advertise parking, but there are only three spaces, first come, first served. There was no room cleaning or change of sheets either. It felt more like renting a room than staying at an inn. I didn't understand that beforehand, and it wasn't worth it for me.

Dona Adriana, who owns the inn, was so kind and helpful, and gave us great tips about beaches in the area. It's well located, about a 10-minute walk from Beto carrero and also close to praia da Armação. We had excellent service and I highly recommend it.

There were so many mosquitoes in the room, and the guesthouse is right by a patch of overgrown land. The owner charges extra to use bath towels, even though I think they should be included in the lodging price. There was only one outlet in the room, so we had to choose between charging a phone and plugging in a mosquito repellent to sleep. It was awful.
