Pousada Cavalero

The room was in great shape and well organized, and everyone working at the inn treated me kindly and paid attention to us. I stayed for six days. Breakfast was simple but very good and enough for me. There were a couple of small things that didn’t get in the way of the stay: one of the two hangers in the room was broken, and the ground-floor washroom faucet was broken too, though it could still be used. They’re easy details to notice and fix. I’d happily recommend the inn, especially if you’re going to Beto Carrero or visiting nearby towns.

The suite was excellent, with a mini fridge, TV, and air conditioning, and there are rooms with balconies as well. It’s a cozy, pleasant place with a complete, tasty breakfast and a pool. The service was impeccable. A good choice for Beto Carrero since you can walk there, and it also works well for nearby beaches, with good quality for a fair price.

It’s a charming place, and being able to walk to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, and lots of other places is a real plus. The location is very good, the service was good, and breakfast was really nice. The pool is small, though, and some parts of the building feel old and worn. The TV remote’s volume-up button was broken and patched with tape. I’d still return many times, or even live in this lovely town.

I liked the location and the way the staff treated me, but the stay was a really bad experience. My room went three days without being cleaned. I asked at reception and was told the housekeeper was alone. They didn’t take out the trash or even leave toilet paper in the bathroom. Breakfast was very limited.
