Pousada Mar de Luna

The place is quiet, well located near the center and beaches, and very cozy and organized. The staff were so attentive. And the breakfast was PERFECT, with everything prepared so carefully.

I stayed at Mar de Luna in January 2026 and got an unpleasant surprise. When I booked, the rooms were listed as either with or without a balcony. Since my family and I planned to spend the day at the park, I chose a room without one. But they put us on the ground floor, where the window opens onto the sidewalk. You can't leave it open without exposing yourself, and there's no grille either. We stayed three days. There was a notice saying towels aren't changed every day, but I didn't expect the rooms to be left uncleaned too. After years of staying in places, I've never been somewhere that didn't do daily cleaning, even without being asked.

The location worked really well for us, with beaches, restaurants and the BCW park nearby. We stayed as three adults and a four-year-old, and the room, towels, bedding and bathroom were all very clean. Breakfast was great, with fresh food and things being replenished all the time. The hosts were friendly and really attentive. We’d happily recommend it and come back soon.

The receptionist was so polite and warm, and breakfast was excellent. Everything was very clean and had what we needed. It’s close to Beto carrero and the beaches. A really good inn, better than plenty of hotels. I’d definitely stay again.
