Pousada Vó Paulina Praia Grande

The place was clean, but renovations carried on the whole time we were staying there. The noise from the work tools made it impossible to rest. I was really upset, since we'd been looking forward to a year of relaxing and couldn't comfortably stay in the apartment, especially with children. Also, the site says breakfast is included, but there wasn't any.

Pedro was a kind and accommodating host. The inn was clean and well kept, with air-conditioned rooms, a full kitchen, and private parking. It's on the main street, just a few blocks from the beaches.

The room was clean and everything looked new, but the bed felt like wood, it was so hard. The TV kept freezing, and on both mornings I found millipedes inside the room. The staff couldn't give us accurate information either. Breakfast at the bakery owned by the same person as the pousada turned out to be quite expensive, and breakfast isn't served at the pousada itself.

The suites were comfortable and very clean. At Pousada Vó Paulina in Penha, SC, we found a welcoming, family-like atmosphere and warm service. It's close to the attractions, and I highly recommend it.
