Sitting by the pool with fruit juice was hard to beat. The pool was a real highlight, and there’s a little supermarket close enough to walk to for food.

The apartments were clean and comfortable, with good bathrooms, beds, a TV, a ceiling fan, and a fridge. I liked the cleanliness and comfort and would recommend them. There’s a good market right across the street with meals. The apartments don’t have stoves, and they don’t provide meals, breakfast, cutlery, bath linens, or blankets. The Wi-Fi wasn’t very good in the room. Guaraú beach was lovely, though the beach bars were very expensive.

The room was airy and the hotel was very clean, in an excellent spot in Guaraú. But the service was poor, and we felt like we were bothering them. We were offered two rooms, one with a kitchen and one without, with a R$ 20,00 difference. We chose the one without a kitchen, then found there was no TV either. The other room was much better, so we switched for R$ 20,00 more. Its TV worked at first, but stopped working that night and was still out the next morning. There was nobody at reception, so we waited a long time for help and eventually gave up waiting at checkout. Another couple was waiting too and nearly gave up as well. At R$ 240,00 per night, I think breakfast should be included. The pool is small. The place has a simple but excellent setup, but they need to put more into service. The nightly price doesn't feel justified.

I've been coming here for over 6 years, usually about three times a year, and I've spent two Christmases here. I first knew the place when Valdomiro was in charge, then Seu Antônio worked here for almost 3 years, and later Valdomiro came back. In all that time, whenever I called or went in person, the place was often closed. I don't mind coming during the week or when business is slow, so draw your own conclusions about who is losing out. I'm not someone who showed up by chance, and I've never asked for a discount. I always paid in cash, so don't make this about the price. On 10/12/2018, I booked through a site. I arrived at 8 in the morning and nobody was there to help. The person responsible was doing work at another property belonging to the same owner, a Korean man. After going back and forth between the hotel and the beach, I finally reached Valmiro at 4 pm. I was told the nightly rate would be 310,00, even though I hadn't used the pool and wasn't actually staying there. I didn't stay because of the way I was treated. I had already lost the afternoon at the beach, and the pool couldn't be used that night. Would you pay 310,00 just to sleep there? The pool was dirty. They cleaned it at the last minute, and then I couldn't use it because there was too much chlorine and I didn't know whether the pH level was safe. The hotel was dirty, and they never answer calls to make reservations. The person supposedly in charge couldn't make decisions, and I was told I wasn't the first to have problems there. It was December and there weren't any guests, which says something about the quality of the hotel. Things have gotten worse over the years. It used to be better when the older man Antônio was there, a man with little education but a huge heart and a real willingness to work. They hardly ever answer the phone, and I'm sure I'm not the first or last person to call without getting through. I wasn't trying to pay the rate for two people. The reception door was stuck, and I had to climb over the wall to open it. Be fair: would it make sense to charge me 310,00 as if I'd had a full stay, after I'd already lost the afternoon and couldn't use the pool? You probably wouldn't do that either. Don't tell me to be fair when you weren't there in person. I'm done spending time on this. I already lost enough time yesterday, and the weak business is showing the effects of the poor service. I haven't gone into every detail, but after coming here for around 6 years, I know the property well. Don't believe me if you don't want to, go and see for yourself. Thanks for your attention.

Awful. The bathroom stank, and it looked like it hadn't been properly washed in a long time, as if someone had only wiped it down. We couldn't sleep because guests were in the pool until 6:00 in the morning, drinking and shouting, and nobody did anything about it. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. 🤬
