Casa Indaiá

We were welcomed warmly and promptly helped by seu Paulo and dona Maria, who is a lovely person. Breakfast was great too. One small thing, the mattress we slept on was very hard, which is tough for someone like me with back problems.

The Casa Indaia is peaceful, cozy, and comfortable, with a great recreation area and a wonderful view that suits this historic place. It’s also close to Petrópolis’s main tourist spots. Our host Bruno and his cousin Roberta were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was simple but really tasty, and sra Maria do Carmo was so kind while preparing it. I definitely recommend this place.

The rooms are great if you need somewhere to stay in Petrópolis, and the staff are organized, friendly, and really attentive. Roberta welcomed us warmly and even suggested some good nearby pizza places. Maria makes breakfast with so much care and is such a sweetheart. The only thing to keep in mind is that it’s a bit far from downtown Petrópolis, so you can’t walk there. It’s not too far by car or Uber, about 20 minutes. Being away from the center also makes it peaceful and safe, and you can hear the birds in the morning. I loved my stay!

A pleasant place. Roberta welcomed us and was really friendly. Breakfast was good too. I think not being able to use the common areas after 10 pm could be a drawback if you’re staying with friends, though it didn’t spoil the experience. I recommend it, especially for couples.
