It's clean and quiet, with none of the luxury touches, but it has a rare family-home feel. A nice base for visiting Petropolis or starting a mountain hike just outside the city. If a 10-minute walk to the main sights is fine with you, the location lets you pass through a lovely Brazilian town where people sleep at night!
