Pousada Sitio Sossego

Great!!!

I've tried to book the pousada's advertised day use on different dates and at different times, but every time I'm told it's full or there are no spaces. It's frustrating and gives the impression of misleading advertising. If this service is being offered to the public, there should be a real plan for accommodating people who want to use it. The pousada should be clearer about actual availability or reconsider advertising the service, so it doesn't raise expectations it can't meet. I hope they review the situation and improve how they communicate with and serve the public.

The staff were kind and very helpful, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The hotel was nice, and breakfast was good, about an 8/10. My room was near reception, which was the one downside: as soon as we opened the door, we were looking at people sitting by the fireplace, and their conversations carried in. I'd come back, but would choose a different room.

The breakfast area really impressed me. It's beautiful, cozy, quiet, and there's a good choice of food. The place itself is interesting and the service was excellent. I expected more from the rooms, though they weren't bad. A few small things were missing, like a mat outside the shower. In this cold weather, maybe they could put in a gas shower later on, since the electric one doesn't quite keep up, haha. Still, the stay was incredible and a positive surprise. I'd recommend it and definitely come back.
