The food at Maria do Carmo is vegetarian, with enough good choices to impress even someone who hasn’t tried vegetarian dishes before. I also tried the organic wiwe soda and really liked it; there are other snacks available in the room and on the menu. Breakfast is included and was very good, and in the afternoon there’s also a colonial-style coffee service for an extra charge. It’s a lovely spot for relaxing, meeting people, and being close to nature. The place feels cozy and simple, almost like home, while still having the polish of an upscale restaurant. The chefs give you personal attention and prepare each dish fresh, at the time you choose within the meal service hours. The rooms are basic but suit the place, with air conditioning, a minibar, a private bathroom, and a comfortable bed. The house is near the beach and well located for visiting nearby beaches and towns.

Piçarras is a beach my family and I love, and this cozy, wonderful place made our visit even better. The owners are so attentive, and their Minas Gerais accents were a lovely bonus! The food is delicious, with vegetarian twists on traditional French dishes. Congratulations, everyone. We’ll definitely be back! 👏🥂💕

Really lovely place, very clean and cozy, with friendly service and a delicious breakfast. Even during the pandemic, I felt safe because of the care they took. Highly recommend!

This old grandma’s house has turned into an inn, run by her grandson, chef Samuel, with his friend and fellow chef Ricardo. It won my heart. The place feels so homey, and the food is wonderfully delicious, with a homemade feel and a modern touch. Thanks for welcoming our family so warmly. They even have little cheese breads from Minas Gerais, where the chefs are from, with that lovely local accent 😊

Everything was spotless and well organized, and breakfast was excellent. But I felt like an intruder in someone else’s home. That was a terrible experience, and I won’t choose this kind of accommodation again.
