After I complained, they moved me upstairs to a different room that matched the photos. That one was clean, had a good shower, and felt fairly priced for a simple inn. But the first night was awful. I arrived tired in the afternoon and was put in a room different from the double I'd booked because the guest in “my” room wanted to stay another night. They gave me a quadruple room instead, and it was badly run down, with broken mirrors and fixtures, a sagging mattress, and mold on one wall. The window faced the street and couldn't be left open. With it shut in the heat, the room was stuffy and even the fan wasn't enough. The door was beside the inn's main entrance, so every guest coming in or out woke us with the door slamming. Guests talking on the entrance sofa or in the kitchen were also loud, since the kitchen shared a thin PVC wall with the room. Kitchen smells came into the room too, and when the town was busy, street noise carried inside. There's no breakfast, and the photos shown here are old.

The room got too hot, and a fan just wasn't enough for the city's heat. Air conditioning would make a tourist's stay better, and the inn could be promoted more to friends. Still, we were welcomed warmly and the location is great. Congratulations on the hospitality, and a hug to Pirenópolis 🖼️❤️.

We walked to all the sights around town because the location is so good. The inn is comfortable, and the hosts were welcoming, polite, and kind. I'd recommend it and would stay at Pousada Haylon again when I return to town. One tip: contact the hosts directly to book and avoid paying fees to booking sites.

The people were pleasant, but the location wasn't that great. The city was overcrowded, and I think the sewer system couldn't cope, because bad smells were coming back through the bathroom. I'd classify the place more as a hostel or shared apartments than an inn.

It's close to the city's historic center, which makes up for the very small room. The room was clean and tidy, and it's fine for a short stay. There's no breakfast.
