What a disappointment. The pousada had a lot going for it: it’s on Piri’s main street and has great parking. But the service was poor and the bath towels were awful. We arrived late with three children, and the shower was broken. There was no way to fix it, so we had to bathe using a bucket filled from the sink. They also didn’t provide enough pillows. They didn’t give us a proper discount for the trouble, just 25,00 off a 650,00 night. A huge lack of respect. I do NOT recommend it.

The location is great. You can leave the car there and walk to the historic center sights, avoiding traffic stress. The room is simple, clean, and a good size, with a balcony. There’s a small natural-water pool and a large parking area. Breakfast isn’t provided, but there are a few cafes on the street, and the pousada looks like something from a soap opera. Good service. I recommend it and would stay again.

We found it very cozy, with everything we needed to get a good rest. It’s right in the historic center and has a big parking lot, which was a relief since finding a street spot in Pirenópolis is so hard. We arrived Saturday morning and didn’t use the car again until Monday afternoon when we headed home. There’s a huge, shady, pleasant yard with a hammock, chairs, and a water spout that feeds a little pool where you can cool off. The staff were welcoming, helpful, and excellent. Thanks so much for the kindness, especially Camila and dona Marli. We hope to come back soon.
