Aguas Hotel

The location is good, and the food is good quality.

They really need to offer water to customers.

We left the hotel in Poços de Caldas because the way we were treated was so upsetting. At dinner there was only a basic soup and chicken that looked so odd no one dared put it on their plate. Lunch had already been disappointing, with a very tough steak. When we asked if they could fry some potatoes and eggs, they complained that it was too late. We tried to speak with the person in charge to understand what was going on. Two women came out of the kitchen and said that if we wanted anything better, we should look for a five-star hotel. It was completely disrespectful, as if asking for something basic was too much. Then two employees argued with guests and made the situation even more tense. The manager saw what was happening and did nothing. It felt like anything we said went in one ear and out the other. After all that indifference, we packed up and left to preserve our dignity and avoid making things worse. The manager was absent when it mattered, and the employees were unqualified.

This was my second stay at Águas, and the receptionist who welcomed me was very friendly. One thing to improve is breakfast: it runs from 7:00 to 9:00, but when we arrived at 8:00 there was no pão de queijo left, and none was brought out.
