Hostel Villa Pomerânia

Things started out nicely, but it seems this business cares only about profit, like so many others. I booked two nights, but had to stay just one for personal reasons. To my surprise, they didn’t refund me, which I believe violates the consumer protection code. Customer satisfaction clearly doesn’t seem to matter to this company. Booking is supporting this abusive practice by businesses like this. I’ll inform Procon and share the company’s conduct through every media outlet.

I found the inn by searching Google, saw the prices, called the number that came up, and booked right away at that rate. The place surprised me when I arrived: it was very clean, and we could prepare our own food in the shared kitchen. We loved the experience. A solid 10.

This was awful. I booked 20 days ahead, then after traveling more than 1,000 kilometers, I arrived to find there was no reservation under my name. I was literally left out on the street. It was humiliating and so embarrassing. My husband, our friends, and I were lucky that some people took us in, since nowhere else had vacancies. I was very upset and ashamed by what happened. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

The service was friendly and attentive, and the location was great. Still, I was really worried after reading another guest’s review saying there might be cameras in the rooms. We also had a problem in the garage: someone parked a pickup behind our car, blocking us in while he slept. We had to call him twice, and he came out incredibly slowly without even apologizing for being so inconsiderate and rude. At check-in, they had stressed three times that guests must not park behind other cars. A basic rule of living together is not to block someone else’s car.
