Versatile Park Hotel

I arrived frustrated because the room I'd booked ahead of time had been given to someone else. I made the reservation by WhatsApp on Friday, 10/04/26, and clearly said I would arrive at 2 a.m. on Saturday, 11/04, for a double room and check in then. I got to the hotel at 2:30 a.m., less than 100 meters from the bus station, and the overnight staff member told me there was no reservation for that room and no room available. After some back and forth, we did agree on a room. The price was good, but the stay had plenty of problems. The room had something covering the glass where a window should be, and the double bed seemed small and felt like it might be broken when I sat down. Its blanket was torn and stained. The single bed was dirty, and flakes from the peeling ceiling fell onto it. There was no mat by the bathroom to dry my feet. The minibar was off and empty, and I didn't bother turning it on. The TV had only four channels, no remote, and a very poor picture. I didn't ask for the room to be cleaned or changed after 1 p.m. because I was barely in it after breakfast, but I was still disappointed, especially since my booking had been made before the other guest's. Breakfast was a mixed experience. The room was quiet and pleasant while guests chatted, until hotel staff came in to sort something out and made a lot of noise with the cutlery. The coffee was cold, the melon was past its best, and the juice was watery. The fruit salad was the one thing that saved breakfast. Coffee at reception was available in the morning but stayed cold for the rest of the day.

The hotel's maintenance is poor. I've stayed here twice, with some time between visits, and had to change rooms three times. In AP 49, the air conditioning didn't work. In AP 50, the shower didn't work. In AP 47, the TV didn't seem to work properly.

The staff don't seem to pay enough attention to the hotel's water tank. On January 12, 2026, at 11:30 p.m., with the hotel full, there was no water. When we spoke to reception, they said an employee had forgotten to turn on the water pump. That's irresponsible.

The rooms smelled bad, and we all woke up sneezing. There was a cockroach in the room, and breakfast was awful.
