The location is on the edge of Moinhos, a bit rough and too far from the central part of the neighborhood for me, so I probably wouldn’t stay again. Security is good, though, and the room was a decent size. The air conditioning and heater both worked. The windows looked out toward a partly finished building, which was a nice enough view. The rug was filthy, and the room could have been cleaner. The smart TV let me stream and use it as a second monitor. Wi-Fi was glitchy, but fine for email and work. Service was uneven. The café and bar were fine, and breakfast was about Hampton level. All in all, it was decent.

My wife and daughter are in Porto Alegre. When they arrived two days ago, they asked to add a night because their trip had been extended, and the hotel confirmed it that same day. Today, they got a text telling them to leave. My wife tried to explain that the extra night had been agreed and confirmed, and that they had nowhere else to go. Now my wife has no hotel, and she and I, from a distance, have to work out what to do. This is a zero-star hotel, pushing a woman and our minor daughter out of their room. Stay away. If you value yourself, and especially your family, stay at any other hotel in Porto Alegre. PS: I don’t know her last name, but the aspiring manager who kicked a woman and a child out of the hotel is Amanda. If the owner reads this, please talk to her. This is the kind of person you have looking after your business.
I stayed for three nights in April and won’t book this hotel again. Money and an Airtag were taken from my wallet during breakfast, even though I hadn’t touched it during my stay. The response to my complaint was very poor. They simply said I must have lost them.
Under Mrs. Amanda, this property is very poorly managed. She seems to have no control over the staff, the hotel systems, or basic guest relations. Her behavior was unprofessional and completely unacceptable. She deliberately removed my family and me from our room and resold it to someone else at a higher rate. It was unethical and disgraceful. I’ve traveled for years and have never encountered such rude and dismissive treatment. It’s hard to believe a hotel in a major city like Porto Alegre is run this badly. No guest, especially a family with children, should be treated this way.
After staying at lots of hotels in Porto Alegre, this boutique hotel suits my needs best. The location is very good, and breakfast and service are excellent.
