The comfortable bed and living room were highlights, and the apartments have plenty of space. The reception area is nice, and the entrance looks lovely, but the hotel itself is quite strange. It's an old apartment building converted into a hotel, with two separate towers connected on the bottom and lower floors. The wood furnishings should be replaced because they give the place a distinctly old smell. The pool needs a full renovation, and the amount of flour used there is incredible. It leaves the whole area saturated, creating a hothouse feeling because of the location. The towels weren't changed properly, and the room cleaning was only so-so. There's a lot of potential here, but it needs renovation and new operations staff.

The shared areas of the hotel are very pretty, and our spacious room was clean, nice, and had everything we needed. It was also very well used, though, and we had some trouble with the shower and bathroom door. Things in general didn't seem well looked after. The restaurant food was just okay, but we didn't try much. Many nearby restaurants deliver through apps like iFood and UberEats, so I'd try those. If a few rough edges don't bother you, I'd recommend it for a clean stay with lots of room.

Breakfast has a great selection, and the hotel is well appointed. There's also a library of books donated by travelers. If you take one, leave one or more books of similar quality. If you don't have a book to leave, return the one you borrowed before you go.

The wood in the room has termites, and the corridor smells odd. They don't have irons in the rooms, so I asked reception and they lent me one. I couldn't use it, though, and they called me close to midnight asking for it back in a rude way. Not the best option. 😑

We stayed for a week and enjoyed our time here. There was plenty of space, and breakfast was pretty decent. A good place to stay, I'd recommend it.
